Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of gastronomic events on the market of Vladivostok. Gastronomic events are an important part of tourism, as it is a combination of gastronomy and events that always attracts tourists and locals. The purpose of the work is to
analyze the market of gastronomic events in Vladivostok and assess the level of customer service on the basis of theoretical and practical materials. The methodological basis of the work is the assessment of gastronomic events using the methods of comparative and statistical
analysis, survey and observation. Based on the results of the study, the theoretical aspects of event and gastronomic tourism were worked out, the main organizers and types of gastronomic events in the Vladivostok market, forms of service were identified, the culinary preferences
of consumers, their requirements for gastronomic events, the choice of the format of participation and financial opportunities were identified. The "Mystery Shopper" methodology has been refined for evaluating the service of consumers of a gastronomic event by
30 indicators included in such blocks as technical equipment, hospitality, service, cuisine and general impressions of a visit.
